Free Will. Sam Harris. Harris is a popular author and PhD in Neuroscience. In this short 66 page book, Harris states that the belief in free will touches nearly everything that human beings value. We imagine that every person is the true source of his/her thoughts and actions. And yet the facts tell us that free will is an illusion. Harris argues that this truth should enhance the way we think about some of the most important questions in life.
