It was interesting to follow today’s breaking news that Georgia Governor, Nathan Deal, decided to side with human rights (and the Super Bowl) over bigotry and religious pandering by the using his veto power. Of equal interest, was how the various news media wrote the headlines. The Atlanta Journal Constitution, NPR, and MSNBC correctly called it a QUOTE-religious-liberty-UNQUOTE bill, since it is goal of the bill was to legalize religious bigotry. Fox News and CNBC left the quotes off, falsely implying that the law represented some kind of actual religious freedom.
