Drinking Skeptically is an informal social event designed to promote fellowship and networking among skeptics, atheists, humanists, critical-thinkers, and like-minded individuals. There is no specific topic. It is just an open discussion among fellow freethinkers about science, religion, skepticism, beer, life and leisure. We generally meet the third or fourth Friday of each month, skipping August and December. Both teetotalers and those who imbibe moderately are equally welcomed.
This month, we are meeting on March 20th, the Vernal Equinox and the real reason for the season. Along with Pi Day (3.14) the month of March offers two important secular events to celebrate!
We will meet in Hough’s in Greenfield, where they have a fine selection of draft beer, a great menu at reasonable prices, as well as wine and cocktails. See http://www.houghspgh…. for details. We start gathering at 7 pm, but latecomers are more than welcome. Hope to see you on Friday night!
