Hi Everyone,

This is our monthly discussion group at Tan Lac Vien in Squirrel Hill.  We meet on the second floor, and they have delicious (optional) food and drinks for anyone who wants to eat.  They have a diverse menu with vegetarian options.

This month’s topic is about dealing with stereotypes.  Are you an atheist, a Humanist, a skeptic?  What do you call yourself, and why?  How do people react when you use those terms?  How can we address the way freethinkers are viewed in the media in our daily lives?

To get the conversation started, here is an article from the Friendly Atheist blog on the depiction of atheists on TV.

See you there!
