Pittsburgh CoR Volunteers with Tree Pittsburgh!: 6/1/2013 at Thelma Lovette YMCA

On Saturday, June 1 Tree Pittsburgh and members of the Pittsburgh CoR will be teaming up with the Thelma Lovette YMCA to care for newly planted trees in the Hill District!

Newly planted trees need our care in their early years to ensure their health and longevity. Activities will include weeding, mulching, adjusting stakes, getting to know neighbors and fellow Tree Tenders, and ensuring the health of our next generation of trees!

Please note: Tree Pittsburgh will provide all tools, equipment and safety gear. Please dress for the elements in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
