Where: Tan Lac Vien (2114 Murray Ave (Squirrel Hill), Pittsburgh, PA 15217)
When: 7PM TODAY
Welcome to our monthly discussion group! We’ll be meeting in the party room at Tan Lac Vien, a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant in Squirrel Hill. They have Chinese and Thai food as well; but please note you are not obliged to order anything. Check them out here.
This month’s topic is Secular Humanism–how can we promote it? Check out the American Humanist Association’s Ten Commitments:
Recently the coalition has been discussing billboard campaigns, and even offering to donate a monument with the Ten Commitments on it. How can we–and how do you–show the world what secular humanism really means?
See you there!
Please note: This month will be our last month on the first Thursday of the month. Next month we’ll switch to second Thursdays at the Big Idea book store in Bloomfield.
