Nanotechnology and Grand Challenges for the 21st Century

Curious about nanotechnology? Spend an evening with Dr. Alan G. Brown,
founder of the Pennsylvania NanoMaterials Commercialization Center—a
Pittsburgh-based non-profit organization focused on commercializing the
new field of nanotechnology.

“Nanotechnology and Grand Challenges for the 21st Century” will explore…

  • The basic principles of nanotechnology
  • Everyday products currently using nanotechnology
  • How nanotechnology is creating futuristic advances that will impact all of us

Brown will also present cool videos that highlight the “grand
challenges” of using nanotechnology. Discover the space elevator concept
and the future of cancer diagnosis and therapy at the cellular level.

Join us for a brief interactive presentation, followed by a Q & A,
in a fun, relaxed setting! Food and drinks will be available for
purchase.
